Like most website authors, I like to provide links to business associates, clients, vendors, etc. I will try my best to provide some background information about why I'm linking to them as well.
My relationship with Y-Kiki is pretty unique. First, as a PADI Open Water Scuba Instructor (PADI OWSI/EFRI 186434), I am a staff member. As you might guess, I teach photography. Additionally, I provide photojournalism coverage for most of their events. More importantly the owners, Ken and Val, along with the other staff members are dear friends. A friendship that I believe extends beyond business. If you are looking for anything dive related, stop by and check us out.
Yet another unique relationship in the context of this site. Anyone familiar with Reuters, seeing this on my photojournalism site would probably assume that I have freelanced for them. That would be wrong. While I have done some minor photo work for Reuters, it has all been specific to the St. Louis campus and non-news/editorial related - office parties, farewell parties, hosted events, etc. I am actually employeed by Reuters as a software engineer. For those who are counting, that is three jobs... but this is the real one ;) I currently work on a product called Reuters Data Feed - Direct.
Its all I use. Nikon cameras with Nikkor lenses. They've never let me down and I cannot say enough about their products.
